Starter - Caramelised Root Vegetable Soup, homemade white and seeded rolls
Main - Poached infused salmon with a hint of Anis, basil sponge fingers to soak up the mustard Hollandaise sauce, skewered griddled vegetables and new potatoes.
Salads - Green Asparagus with Beurre Blanc, Couscous & Apricot, French Beans & Red Onions with an Agri Dulce Reduction.
Puddings - Layered elderflower, apple and red berry jelly, Very Berry Upside Down Orange Cake, Salad of Persimmon, Pineapple & Cantaloupe melon with a side of Ammaretto Butterscotch Honey Sauce.
Silver Wedding Anniversary in a local Community Hall for 80 guests...
Brief: for guests to have continuous food & drink and be the centre of attention. Sit down meal but partly buffet style for the main. Love roast beef, cured salmon... (also two vegetarians, one coeliac & a diabetic guest catered for)
Canapés - Roast beef with horseradish cream & onion chutney on a crispy toast, Sautéed Chestnut mushroom, Crème fraîche in a pastry cup, Virgin Mary shots, crab & sweetcorn croustades.
Starter - Home cured salmon with a tangy lemon mousse, fennel, cress and mustard seed salad.
Soup - Chestnut Mushroom & Sherry, homemade rolls.
Main - Roast Beef, chicken breast in hoi sin & Tai spices, marinaded whole ham, poached salmon in white wine, new potatoes; Salads - carrot & sultana, baby spinach & pomegranate, cherry tomatoes, feta & black olives.
Puddings - Edible chocolate cup with strawberry meringue, rose cream topped with strawberries, strawberry jam rolls and ice cream

Birthday Party with a Glam Rock Festival Theme for 70 Guests...
Brief: Celebrate a birthday party with a festival music and food theme. She loved pulled pork wraps. We made VIP passes, moulded vinyl record plates to serve food on and provided all glasswear. She wanted finger food but without the need for a buffet table.
Puff pastry with red sun dried tomato pesto or green basil pesto topped with asparagus & red smoked pepper
Roast Beef on crispy baguette toast, with a horseradish cream and caramelised chutney
Chicken and chorizo in a smokey paprika & tomato salsa, served in home made sour dough buns
Pulled pork wraps with stuffing, an onion or tangy tomato
Fish and chips served in their own "newspaper" boat with pickled gherkins or onions
Thick Spanish "chocolate" served in mini cups with croissants or pain au chocolate
